#REVIEW ~ Love, Lies & A Bleu Christmas (Love, #4)

32867737Love, Lies & A Bleu Christmas

When Bleu Resorts owner, Jada Kole decided it would be a good idea to keep a secret from her husband, it never once occurred to her that he might have an even more stunning secret than hers.

The last year of Jonathan Kole’s life has been marred by complications, pressure and is beyond stressful both at his law firm and at home. Jada being overseas for an extended period doesn’t make things any easier to deal with.

But secrets have a way of getting out. Add a sultry blonde and a child to the mix and Jada and Jonathan’s happily married life quickly turns into a very dark shade of bleu. As things fall apart, it turns from bad to worse when one of them ends up on the wrong side of the law and something ominous enters their lives.

With Jada and Jonathan battling problems inside their marriage and things disintegrating in every direction on the outside, will San Francisco’s biggest power couple be able to get their lives in order? Or will it bring about the demise of their world and their child’s?

MY REVIEW
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Goodness! Where do I start?

Love, Lies & the DA is my favorite of Rebecca Rohman's books so I knew this continuing story would be SUPER FAN-TAB-U-LICIOUS!!!
I do love Johnathan Kole ... and Jada too!
this story takes place several years after LLATDA .. Jada and Johnathan have a 10yr old son in this story! ...
Both are very successful and busy with work and it has affected their marriage in some negative ways which leads to some interesting twists in this story.
Each trying to protect the other spouse from their personal demons, they keep secrets which set in motion some dark and turbulent events ...
and THEN ... another TWIST and some CRAZY things happen ...mysterious &  dangerous things ...

I will NOT tell you the secrets of this book ... Oh no, that would ruin the book and I do hate to ruin a great reading experience ...
but I will tell you that Rebecca is a master at twists, emotional roller coasters and she tackles topics that are often difficult and highly emotional and require care to develop in a manner that is respectful and cared for  ...
my emotions certainly went through the ringer in this book  and I loved that ... she does tackle a few topics that I am sure many of us have dealt with in one fashion or another and while we may have dealt with it differently she did justice to her characters and I fell in love with them all over again
Rebecca creates stories that are emotionally complex , powerful, personal, scary, humorous, loving, beautiful (and ugly too) ... and she does it all with a respect and empathy that you can feel in her words
It's clear to me, as a reader, she did her research to make sure this story was genuine in feeling and I love that about her books ...

I also love her use of animals in her books ... I AM an animal lover after all

If you havent's read Rebecca's books ... I highly suggest you do (I've created a clickable link to her amazon page and her facebook page in this  review ... just click her name)  and fall in love with all her stories and characters
