Ren Lewis has seen it all, or so he likes to think. He's encountered every danger known to man. Due to his powers as a Dream Traveler and unstoppable work ethic, he's experienced more than any human alive. But Ren is about to have a brand new experience.
He's being dragged on a family vacation.
When a life altering event falls on Dahlia and Ren, he agrees to take a break from work and explore the west coast with his family. But since not everyone in the Lewis clan can dream travel, Ren is forced to endure regular travel in a car. This vacation from hell is actually a spiritual excursion meant to pull the demons out of Ren. The most powerful man in the world is stripped from his element and visited by three wise women whose jobs are to make him come to terms with his past, present, and future. This is a Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol retelling using a modern day Scrooge.

I LOVE SARAH NOFFKE ... her books are amazing and ALL of them really should be mini series on tv or for the big screen ... these stories are not just YA but for all ages and should not be limited to those who love fantasy, paranormal, romance, dark stories, humour, etc ... i think they all have something that would suit most ppl
REN is defiantly more adult in nature but I'd certainly recommend this book and series to my friends who enjoy books ... in fact, I did tell a friend who usually read a different genre than me that she might really enjoy this series and Sarah's other series I love her audiobooks so much I have bought and gifted them to friends πŸ’›

I really enjoyed that this novella had a 'Christmas Carol' feel to it ... who doesn't love being visited by past, present, future!?!?!
a perfect ending to this series

Tim Campbell IS Ren Lewis ... he brings Ren to life in a way that is so magical, complex, gritty, dark, delightful ...
Bravo Tim Campbell ... you are a narration dream
Tim seems to be a natural story reader. He adds character and charm to the characters in a way that is natural and flawless
There's no time I have ever thought, man I wish he read that differently ... nope! He's perfect
every character is different and he creates the little nuances of the characters that makes them all unique and realistic (which seems to be hard when you are reading a different gender than you are)
