REVIEW: Conduit by Angie Martin

by Angie Martin

How do you hide from a killer when he's in your mind?

Emily Monroe conceals her psychic gift from the world, but her abilities are much too strong to keep hidden from an equally gifted killer. A savvy private investigator, she discreetly uses her psychic prowess to solve cases. When the police ask her to assist on a new case, she learns the killer they seek is not only psychic, but is targeting her.

The killer wants more than to invade her mind; he wants her. Believing they are destined for each other, he uses his victims as conduits to communicate with her, and she hears their screams while they are tortured. She opens her minds to help the victims, but it gives him a portal that he uses to lure her to him. With the killer taking over her mind, she must somehow stop him before she becomes his next victim.

five stars

I received this book in exchange for an honest review ... this did NOT influence my review
When I was asked if I would read and review this book I hesitated. ..only for a moment!
Suspense thrillers are not a genre I've ever read before ...
i am more of a romance genre kinda gal!!!
Although, I might change my mind now!
Conduit gripped me and pulled me into a new reading world!
a little bit of paranormal (psychics and conduits) , romance and humour rounded out this adrenaline pumping physiological thriller.
While I was busy and could only read a little at a time, I really looked forward to the next part I would read ...
I was fascinated by Emily and Jake ... and all the conduits ... and even the creepy sick twisted killer!

by the time I was finished I was exhausted ... lol
physically from tensing up my body (it was that intense) and
emotionally ... what a rush!

I look forward to reading more books by Angie Martin

I recommend this book to any one who likes suspense thrillers (including romantic suspense ... remember I usually read romance genres)
Take a chance ... I did ... and I was rewarded!
